Join us for a transformative workshop with Carmella McDonald. Carmie is a long-time resident of Spruce Grove, with over 30 years of deep-rooted community ties. As a proud fourth-generation descendant of the Michel Band and a dedicated member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, she passionately embodies and shares her cultural heritage.
In this workshop. we invite you to explore the sacred art of smudging through the creation of your own smudge spray using various essential oils.
This hands-on experience blends ancient medicine teachings with the therapeutic benefits of natural ingredients, allowing participants to connect with the spirit of the earth and enhance their wellness practices.
During this workshop, you will learn about the traditional significance of smudging in Indigenous cultures, the properties of various essential oils, and how to craft your own personalized smudge spray to cleanse spaces and uplift energies. With guidance from an experienced facilitator, participants will delve into the meanings behind different oils and their connections to healing, intention-setting, and spiritual growth.
